My love for reading began in my tweens, so I felt reminiscing on the books that brought me into the literary world was long overdue. Thinking about these books reminds me of all those Scholastic Book Fairs I’d attend at my middle school. Oh, those were the days!
I’ve got a new book for you hungry hungry readers and it’s a good one (per usual). The Alchemy Thief, by R.A. Denny, is a book that will take you by surprise in the best way possible.
Obviously, you can read whatever book you want on the beach, but I have to say there are better ones to read than others. Malibu Rising, written by the lovely Taylor Jenkins Reid, is a clear beach read winner.
The Last Thing He Told me has some twisties and turnies that nearly blew me away. Luckily, I was wearing my cement shoes as a preventative measure. Phew!
Tolkien gifted us with some inspiring quotes from LOTR and I’m here to remind you of their beauty and lessons they reveal.
This book will have you on an emotional roller coaster. Emotional devastation or not, I can assure you that it’s well worth the read.
Usually within the first few chapters of a book, I can tell whether or not I’m going to love it, or if I’m going to leave it on my bookshelf to collect dust. This book will not be collecting any dust!
I figured since it’s April that I would finally post my TBR list for 2021 because if there is one thing that I excel at, it’s procrastination.
There was some seriously good wisdom sprinkled throughout this book, so I’ve picked out some quotes that might make you feel less anxious – they might also make you feel more anxious (I’m sorry if they do).
While this book is clearly titled The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, you will find that Addie LaRue and her story is anything but forgettable, and she is anything but invisible.
I have some good news. This beautiful book, written by the lovely Sophie Cousens, will temporarily take you out of 2020.
After reading The Sun Down Motel, I’ve decided that the only thing motels are good for is as a setting to any horror-thriller book or movie. That’s it. I’m never staying at a motel ever. Seeing as this book is a thriller, the whole creepy motel vibe really works.
Well, times are a little crazy, aren’t they? You would think with the Stay at Home Order I’d have all the time in the world to write blog post after blog post. All I had to see were the words “online book subscription” and I was already signed up. It was very impulsive, but I just couldn’t seem to help myself.
I read this book in one day. I picked it up one Saturday morning, and told myself I’d only spend a few hours reading, but instead I finished it. Oops!
Happy Galentine’s Day you beautiful people! In honor of this holiday I have provided you with 10 romance books I refuse to read.
I am publicly posting my 2020 reading list so that I’m more motivated to actually read all of the books on my list. That can be a real struggle for me. Anyone else feel that way, or is it just me?
The other night I was on one of my daily walks just minding my own business, thinking about my life, and jamming out to some tunes, when out of nowhere I’m thinking about serial killers.
I’m obsessed with Harry Potter, so here are some quotes that will 100% give you hope!
If you are a fan of suspense/thriller books then be ready to read this book from start to finish with no breaks.
If you’re a fan of Mindhunter (the show) then you’ve probably already heard that Netflix is delaying the third season. Luckily for me, and the other Mindhunter fans there is a solution to this problem: we read the book.
I will probably always read YA romcom books even when I’m 100, and there’s no sense in denying that.
Caution: if you’re going to read this book make sure you have a tissue box with you. Otherwise, your book pages will get stained from the heavy stream of tears you will undoubtedly shed whilst reading.
